Top Metal Songs of 2020 (Part 3)

Hello Metallers, This time we start with Thrash legends Testament, Which I wrote a book about them in 2001. Since the atomic clock Gene Hoglan is on drums and legendary bassist Steve Digiorgio is on bass duty, They have one of the strongest line ups in metal world theses days. Unique powerful voice of Chuck Billy, outstanding guitar solos of Alex Skolnick and fire breathing riffs of Eric Peterson, All together created this awesome song “Children Of The Next Level” taken from the 2020 album Titans of Creation.

OK Lets fly to France where Nightmare comes from, A few years back I watched their Ikarus video on YouTube and seems they are like French wine and get better by age! They had many line up changes including vocals and Its the first time I’m hearing the beautiful/ powerful voice of their new vocalist Madie. The production is done in Simone Mularoni’s Domination Studio in Italy. This is an awesome sounding tune with killer riffs and outstanding vocal melodies. definitely should check their new album “Aeternam” which be out on October 02, 2020 via AFM Records. hope all the songs are awesome like this so I can add that to my Vinyl (or maybe CD) collection.

US Progressive metal band Psychotic Waltz hails from California, They have been quiet for a long time and their previous album “Bleeding” backs to 1996. Fortunately they are back with a mind blowing new album “The God-Shaped Void”, Which has been released on February 14, 2020 via Inside Out Music. The album is filled with atmospheric moments and takes the listeners to a pleasant journey. The opening track “Devils And Angels” is a good example of what the album represents, Outstanding progressive metal with amazing vocals of Devon Graves.
