Top Metal Songs Of 2020 (Part 2)
Hello Metallers, This time we start with a killer song from a band who has not been around for 5 years and that’s UK metallers Sylosis. An energetic metal bomb exploded on Feb 7th, 2020 with their new album Cycle of Suffering. Seems Josh Middleton is on the top of his game with his Fast catchy riffs, Amazing solos and powerful vocals. First thing that got my attention is the new cool modern guitar sound coming from a 6505 Peavey amp (For guitar nerds!). Josh also produced and mixed the album and mastering is done by Ermin Hamidovic. I enjoyed the whole album specially first 4 tracks and this one “I Sever” is absolutely powerful, Just listen for yourselves!
OK now lets go to Melbourne, Australia and check this amazing song from Vanishing Point, A Prog metal band who has been around since 1995. Its a cool Power/ Prog tune with modern sound and amazing riffs specially at the beginning. Liked the vocals on this track. The album with the same tittle will be out on Aug 28, 2020 via AFM Records. I will definitely check that.
Well its time for a good old school death metal from a well experienced band who knows how to cook decent sounding death metal! Incantation history backs to 1989. They are one of the leaders in New York city death-metal scene along with fellow bands Suffocation, Mortician and Immolation. This song is taken from the upcoming album “Sect of Vile Divinities” which will be released on Aug 21 via Relapse Records. An awesome sounding death metal song that you need to hear at least a couple of times each time! 2 thumbs up!
