Hello Everyone, Another year coming to end, Very bad year for the world but at least the metal albums were better than 2019 imo! here is the list of my favorite metal albums that I think every metal head should check. They are in no particular order cause I’m not trying to convince you one is better than the other. These are top hard-working musicians that released awesome metal albums & I’m sharing them with you as a fan/ musician. Also my band Angband released an album in 2020 called “IV” With Tim Aymar (Control Denied) on vocals which is not in the list cause its not for me to decide. You can listen to that here

Alchemy of Souls Part 1
Spanish Power metal act are back with another mind blowing powerful album with phenomenal vocals of Ronnie Romero (Rainbow), Brilliant compositions & awesome sound.
LAMB OF GOD
Lamb of God
This is their best release in recent years! sophisticated rhythms and unique vocals of Randy Blyth gave this album a great atmosphere. 2 thumbs up!
TRIVIUM
What The Dead Man Says
Awesome album with great production. they are one of my favorite modern metal sounding bands and I think It’s safe to say Trivium never disappoints.
NIGHTMARE

With the new vocalist Madie, French metallers delivered a massive sounding record that I really enjoyed.
DARK TRANQUILITY
Moment
Swedish Melodic death metallers are back with a well cooked album. Awesome sound a good balance between harsh and clean vocals, catchy melodies and I should definitely add the vinyl version to my collection. two thumbs up!
UNLEASH THE ARCHERS
Abyss
Canadian power metal act delivered an awesome album. Phenomenal Brittney Slayes vocals gave the album a unique vibe. My favorite tracks are “Abyss” & “Through stars”.

Hiding from the World
Norwegian Progressive Metal act is back with a mind blowing album. Its one of their best albums to date imo. Great compositions and outstanding vocals.
PSYCHOTIC WALTZ
The God Shaped Void
Another remarkable progressive metal release which has a different atmosphere. After many years of silence the band is back with a powerful album that will take you on a good musical journey.
JOHN PETRUCCI
Terminal Velocity
I think we should thank pandemic that John Petrucci finally sat down and record a new solo album. really amazing album and that’s exactly what you expect from a great guitarist/ songwriter.
